RETAIL

Given that a majority of the MDG sites are located in strong urban environments using some of the street level square footage for third party retail leasing provides valuable income to the hotel as well as enhancing the hotels guest experience as most of these hotels do not include any meaningful F&B on site. Targeting well located sites in close proximity to desirable retail and entertainment venues is key in the initial site selection process. 

The Epic 

Grand Prairie (Dallas), TX

 

The City of Grand Prairie in conjunction with restaurant operator groups will develop 45,000 square feet of restaurant/retail space adjacent to the hotel to be owned by the City of GP and leased to stand alone restaurant/bar operators. MDG to assist GP in the development, selection and leasing of restaurant operators within The Epic. MDG is advising the City of Grand Prairie in identifying 7 highly successful restaurant groups that are considered strong operators within the DFW market. Currently there are 5 restaurants leases that have been executed and two remaining pad sites left to be leased out.This 12.7 acre site represents one of the last development sites within the 170 acre EpicCentral development in Central Grand Prairie, located in a southwest suburb of Dallas.
